The 8th Zigong Dinosaur International Lantern Festival started from February 1 to March 10 in 2002. Lasted 38 days and received 600,000 foreign visitors. The lantern sets “Century holy lantern,” “Zodiac fireworks,” success join in the “Century Guinness.”

In the lantern festival this year, Zigong get investment Projects 245, a total investment of 7.74 billion yuan; 14 contracted projects with a total investment 495 million yuan, gt about 462.33 million yuan of funds.
