Sheep Lamp

Sheep Lamp is an ancient bronze at Warring States Period which unearthed from Hanzhong in Shanxi Province. Its shape like a lying sheep,  and it craned its neck to look at remote place serenely.

The Sheep Lanp use silver-inlaid stripes  on its body,  the stripes looks like clouds. You might notice the fine craftsmanship, it reflects the the level of gold and silver inlaid handicraft at Warring States period.

Today, many Chinese Lantern shape like the sheep lamp.

Age: Zhou Dynasty (Warring States Period)
